A sweeping cinematic effort by director Ava Duverny gets bogged down as a heavy handed reenactment of past historical injustices. Leading actress Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor is incredible to watch at times, but again her character becomes a walking one-sided protester demanding you devour the trauma porn she is lecturing. Actors Jon Bernthal and Niecy Nash are excellent as well making this two hour and twenty some odd minutes bearable to endure. Catch video review below. Rating: 1.5/4
I.S.S works best as a standard science fiction tale. What if your were the last people to survive a nuclear war and your government orders to kill your enemy, which happens to be part of your space station crew. Great set up, wonderful cast and at brisk ninety minutes this is how they use to tell sci-fi stories. Catch Rosa’s in depth REVIEW.
