One Piece’s Inaki Godoy Learned Japanese

Mexico’s Iñaki Godoy, who plays Luffy in the Netflix adaptation of ‘One Piece,’ learned Japanese to discuss Season 2 with the series’ creator, Eiichiro Oda. Their conversation, which covered the challenges of the Grand Line and Luffy’s character development, was praised for Godoy’s fluency, humor and dedication.
