Isabela Merced(formerly Moner) is an award winning actress. Having been in commercials and small tv roles since the age of six, Merced paid her dues with bigger roles in the Nickelodeon television series 100 Things to Do Before High School. but it was her major role in Sicario: Day of the Soldado, where she was praised by critics. The New Yorker‘s Anthony Lane wrote “Moner is terrific, and her character’s fortunes can be read in her eyes—blazing to begin with, as she scraps with another girl in a schoolyard, but dark and blank by the end, their youthful fire doused by the violence that she has seen.”
Merced went on to star in Transformers: The Last Knight and the title role of Dora and the Lost City of Gold, a live action film adaptation of the animated series. An accomplished young talent, now twenty-three as of 2024, Merced has not slowed down, but has incredibly busy 2025.
With a memorable role in the smash hit Alien:Romulus, Merced will be appearing in The Last of Us, Season Two(as Dina,) and James Gunn’s Superman(as Hawkgirl,) both in 2025.
